School may be out, but Raider spirit has been in full swing this summer as student-athletes spent a week building skills, confidence and friendships at the Utica City School District’s cheer camp.
Throughout the week, participants worked alongside coaches to develop their cheerleading fundamentals while strengthening teamwork and school spirit. Student-athletes learned new chants, jumps, motions, stunts and choreography. In addition to improving their skills, they had the opportunity to make new friends, build confidence and have fun in a supportive environment.
The week concluded with a special performance for family and friends, where the student-athletes showcased everything they had learned throughout the camp.
Congratulations to all of the student-athletes and coaches on a successful camp! Your enthusiasm, commitment and Raider pride have laid a strong foundation for an exciting cheer season ahead.
